April 2021 Archives

The future...

I probably won't keep MT around. Sure, it's fun to play with it for a few minutes, but I would much rather use an offline static generator to handle this rather than MT. While it is nice to have the ability to perform random updates to a website from the web itself... I would much rather do other things than remember to keep MT updated.

And for my next trick...

As is usual when getting a website configured just so to facilitate easy content updates or perhaps an actual blog, I will update one or two times then abandon it because nobody has time to blog unless they are selling something.

And now a media test...

norwalk_pile.jpgI should probably check that I can upload photos with posts. Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Curabitur vitae ligula eu leo tempus mollis. Or maybe it is...

Turns out it wasn't even that I'm rusty with perl cgi, but rather this thing has non-useful defaults.

Not sure if this is working as it should...

I've set it up... added a page and now this entry... but nothing?
